Frequently asked questions
Do I need to verify my identity?
Yes. We make a foreign payment on your behalf, so regulations require your national ID and a mobile number registered in your own name to be confirmed. It happens once, before your first payment; later orders go straight to the gateway.
Does the merchant see my details?
No. The payment leaves rima's PayPal account and that is what the merchant sees. The invoice reference is what ties your order to that payment.
How is this different from Visa and Mastercard?
Only the instrument. The service, the fee and the steps are identical — pick whichever your merchant accepts. If it takes both, the choice does not matter.
What if the payment cannot be made?
If the payment cannot be delivered to the merchant for any reason, the full amount is refunded to you.
