You have an appointment and the fee has to be paid in foreign currency. rima makes the payment on your behalf, the fee is 3% and published on this page, and you get the payment receipt in the applicant's name.
Why it's hard
Embassies take foreign currency only, and don't know Iranian cards
Embassy and visa-centre payment pages do not accept an Iranian card. Appointments also expire: if the fee is not paid by a given date, the slot is released.
So most people ask someone with a foreign card. The problem is not that it fails — it is that no receipt in the applicant's name survives, and if the payment never lands there is nothing to follow up on.
What's in scope
rima pays the fee. It does not book appointments and has no part in the visa result.
We say it first because some services sell both. Booking the slot, filling the forms and the visa file itself are yours or your lawyer's. What rima does is one specific thing: the amount the embassy asked for, paid in the right currency inside the deadline, with the receipt handed back to you.
How it works
From order to receipt
1. Have three things ready
The embassy name, the applicant's name exactly as it appears in the passport, and the passport number. Those three are what the order form asks for.
2. Pay the amount in Toman
The Toman equivalent is calculated at the day's rate plus the service fee and shown before you pay. Any Iranian bank card works.
3. Receive the receipt
The payment is made to the embassy and its receipt is filed for you. The order status stays in your panel with its date.

The exchange rate is the one rima publishes openly on the site — visible before you order, not made up for you. The service fee is separate and listed below.

This fee is not tiered and has no floor or ceiling: 3% at $80 is 3% at $2,000. That is why the effective-rate column reads the same on every row.
This table is computed by the same function the checkout uses, so it cannot promise a number the payment won't honour.

Receipt in the applicant's name
The receipt is issued against the exact name and passport number you entered. That is why getting those two right matters more than speed.
Amount range: From $10 to $2,000 per order. For a family filing above that total, place more than one order.
Paying the fee is not a visa guarantee
In most countries the embassy fee buys **consideration** of the file, not the visa — and it is usually non-refundable if the application is refused. That is the embassy's own policy and outside rima's control. What we do guarantee: if the payment is not made, your money comes back.
